Articulation & Phonology

Help your child develop clear, confident speech through play-based activities.

What Is Articulation Therapy?

Articulation refers to how we produce speech sounds. Some children have difficulty pronouncing specific sounds (like "r" or "s"), while others struggle with sound patterns. Articulation therapy helps children develop the motor skills and awareness needed for clear speech.

We use play-based techniques to make learning fun and natural. Instead of drill-and-repeat exercises, we embed sound practice into games, songs, and activities your child loves.

Is This Right for Your Child?

Your child might benefit from articulation therapy if they:

  • Are difficult to understand, even by familiar listeners
  • Substitute one sound for another (like "wabbit" for "rabbit")
  • Leave off sounds at the beginning or end of words
  • Struggle with specific sounds like "r," "s," "l," or "th"
  • Get frustrated when others don't understand them

How We Work Together

1

Assess & Listen

We start with a thorough evaluation to understand which sounds your child is working on and how their speech patterns affect communication.

2

Play-Based Practice

We embed sound practice into games, songs, and activities your child loves. Therapy feels like play, not work.

3

Build Confidence

As your child develops clearer speech, we help them use their new skills in conversation, at school, and with friends.

4

Partner with You

We teach you strategies to practice at home so your child's progress continues between sessions.
