The Evaluation: Where Guessing Ends

An evaluation gives you something months of Googling can't: a clear, honest picture of where your child is, what's going well, and exactly what would help. You'll walk away with a detailed report and a plan — not more questions.

Speech only or language only evaluation

Every evaluation includes: a comprehensive assessment of your child's communication skills, a detailed written report you can share with your pediatrician or school, and clear recommendations for next steps — whether that's therapy with us, strategies to use at home, or reassurance that your child is on track.

Billing & Insurance

Why Private Pay Works for Families

Insurance companies decide how many sessions your child gets. We think that decision should be yours. Private pay means no claim denials, no waiting lists, and no one telling us when your child's therapy has to end.

You pay per session, and you always know exactly what it costs. No surprises.

Courtesy Billing

If you have commercial insurance, we can submit your receipt as an out-of-network claim on your behalf.

Many families receive reimbursement for a portion of therapy costs through their insurance benefits.

Medicaid & State Insurance Plans

If your child receives services through Medicaid or other state insurance plans, you may need to waive your rights to use insurance in order to access our private services.

Early Intervention (EI) services are separate and don't affect your ability to use our private therapy. We're happy to discuss your specific situation and help you understand your options.

Common Questions

Do you offer payment plans?

We typically ask for payment per session. If you'd like to discuss alternative arrangements, please contact us directly.

How often should my child have therapy?

This depends on your child's needs and goals. Most families start with 1-2 sessions per week. We'll make a recommendation after the evaluation.

Can I get reimbursed by insurance?

Many families receive reimbursement for out-of-network therapy. We offer courtesy billing, which means we submit the claim to your commercial insurance on your behalf. Coverage and reimbursement amounts vary by plan.

What if I need to cancel a session?

We understand that life happens. We ask for 24 hours notice for cancellations. We'll discuss our cancellation policy when you schedule.

Your Child Deserves Answers
